Crown Motors

Crown Motors Ltd, part-owned by the Toyota Corporation and distributor of Toyota vehicles across China, use Processfix to improve their back-office service processes. Working with cross-functional teams Processfix facilitate workshops across Crown’s operation to improve service performance.

At the heart of Crown’s operation is the Pre-Delivery Operations (PDO) process through which Crown import, licence, tax and register cars prior to delivery to the end customer. With thousands of vehicles passing through PDO each year, the process needs to be robust and streamlined to ensure customer satisfaction.

Through Processfix Rapid Improvement Crown quickly pinpointed the root causes of poor performance, primarily associated with the sequential process flow being disrupted by 'urgent orders' that were routinely fast tracked through the system. Once quantified, Processfix implemented a streamlined process resulting in immediate improvement in customer satisfaction and delivery timescales.
