Bowlee Park Housing Association
Bowlee Park Housing Association owns 2500 homes made up mainly of familiy houses built in the 1950s. The homes were formerly part of Manchester City Council's stock and transferred to the association in 2002. As a charitable organisation Bowlee Park is committed to achieving operational excellence in customer service by setting high performance targets, responding to customers in a helpful manner and providing value for money. To enable this Bowlee Park asked Processfix to launch and facilitate a series of Rapid Improvement Workshops across its operational teams.
The number of days a property is empty is one of the key performance indicators for any housing association. At the start of the programme performance averaged 45 days. Processfix facilitated the review and improvement of the end-to-end process with representatives from across the organisation including its Repairs suppliers that were seen as crucial to the sustainability of any improvement. Through the rapid identification and removal of waste the teams reduced the average to within a new agreed target of 26 days.
