Telford and Wrekin Council
With a
population of over 164,000 people expected to rise to over 200,000 people by
2026, Telford & Wrekin is a 4 star authority recognised as one of the best
performing councils in the UK, whose strive for operational excellence means
that they are continually on the look out for new ways to improve.
Since its
creation in 1998 the council have always believed in the talent of its
employees to identify and drive improvement. Until recently their challenge has
been to harness this collective energy in a way that ensures improvements are
delivered.
The
Council asked Processfix to create a framework for rapid and sustainable
improvement including the internalisation of the skills and the ability to
facilitate their own Rapid Improvement Workshops. Now fully trained and with
ongoing Processfix support the council is delivering tangible performance
improvement, resulting in better services for the increasing population.
